The Jeremiahs combine traditional and contemporary sounds to create their own brand of Urban Folk music. Since founding in 2013 the quartet have trailblazed across Ireland and Europe playing some of the top venues and Festivals.

Joe, with his instantly recognisable timbre, offers a diverse repertoire of songs, from rousing sea shanties to emotional traditional songs of hardship, love and loss. His obvious  passion and love for these songs, old and new, is plain to see and hear and will entrance and warm the heart of any music lover. A talented Dublin born singer with a melting pot of influences.

Finbarr English

Finbarr 'blazzing' English is from Co Tipperary. During his formative years he spent some time learning Classical and Jazz music in London. Both have had an influence on Finbarrs' playing which can be best described as truly unique. Finbarrs' first love however is Traditional music, he has been a resident musician in Brú Ború in Cashel and has travelled to China and the U.S both as a musician and as an adjudicator during the New York Fleadh.  

 

 

 

Brian Corry

From Feakle Co. Clare, Brian is an extremely talented musician who is continuing on the long tradition of a fantastic musical legacy from the banner county. He learnt from East Clare legend Mary McNamara , famed for her concertina playing. Brian, for a young man, has gathered a wealth of tunes and experience having played with many groups over the last number of years on successful tours throughout Scandinavia, Scotland, England, Belgium and as far afield as India.

Dublinese accompanist James has amassed a wealth of experience having already performed in over 14 different countries to date.
James’ draws on a wide a range of influences from different genres and traditions which is evident is his unique percussive backing style. As well as an established teacher James is also an experienced sound engineer (which is a good thing for the band as it saves them a fortune!) having worked with a long list of talented and well respected musicians and singers in the studio.
